Introduction of C10300 oxygen-free copper.

C10300 oxygen-free copper, also known as red copper/pure copper, is generally known as purple copper because of its rose-red color and purple color after the formation of oxide film on the surface. Oxygen-free copper without hydrogen embrittlement phenomenon, has excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, processing performance, welding performance, corrosion resistance, low temperature performance, and excellent plasticity, easy to hot pressing and cold pressure processing, a large number of products used in the manufacture of wire, cable, brushes, EDM special etched copper etching and other requirements of good electrical conductivity.

C10300 oxygen-free copper properties and scope of application.

Oxygen-free copper is a very pure copper, generally can be approximated as pure copper, its electrical and thermal conductivity is second only to silver, widely used in the production of electrical and thermal conductivity equipment. Copper has good corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, seawater and certain non-oxidizing acids (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid), alkalis, salt solutions and a variety of organic acids (acetic acid, citric acid), and is used in the chemical industry. In addition, copper has good weldability and can be made into various semi-finished and finished products by cold and thermoplastic processing. Copper is also used for motor short-circuit rings, electromagnetic heating inductor production, and high-power electronic components above, terminal blocks terminals and the like, part of the use to doors, windows, handrails and other furniture and decoration.

C10300 oxygen-free copper welding.

1、Oxyacetylene welding

Copper oxyacetylene welding can be used when the wire 201 (or wire 202) wire and flux 301. 400 ~ 700 ℃ preheating before welding, welding flame using neutral flame and a larger flame power. The use of fewer layers of welding, welding after hammering the weld to reduce welding stress.

2、Welding electrode arc welding

Copper electrode arc welding can be used copper 107 or copper 227 welding rod. Power supply using DC reverse connection. Preheating temperature before welding 300 ~ 500 ℃, welding with a short arc, straight back and forth to transport the bar, hammering the weld after welding to reduce welding stress.

3、Tungsten arc welding

Copper tungsten arc welding wire and flux used and oxyacetylene welding, the same power supply using DC positive connection. Preheat before welding, but the temperature should not be too high.

C10300 oxygen-free copper vacuum melting.

Vacuum melting of oxygen-free copper is the best choice for melting high quality oxygen-free copper. Vacuum melting not only reduces the oxygen content significantly, but also the content of hydrogen and some other impurity elements at the same time. For melting in vacuum medium frequency coreless induction furnaces, graphite crucibles and twice refined high purity copper cathodes or remelted copper are used as raw material. Together with the copper cathode, the furnace also includes a scaled graphite powder for deoxidation. In fact, the deoxidation is mainly carried out by the carbon in the graphite crucible material. The amount of carbon consumed can be calculated, e.g. 100 g of carbon for 1 kg of copper. Experience shows that the higher the oxygen content in the copper solution at the beginning, the more rapidly the deoxidation reaction proceeds at the beginning of the melting. Oxygen-free copper obtained by vacuum melting can have an oxygen content of less than 0.0005% and a hydrogen content of less than 0.0001% to 0.0003%. In fact, only copper melted and cast under a certain vacuum degree is possible to obtain castings completely free of oxygen and other gases, so the vacuum degree of the vacuum furnace used to produce copper for electronic tubes should be above 10-6.
